The Future of Kitchen Refurbishment

Our current project

This is our current project

This kitchen has solid oak doors and drawer fronts, with a mixture of melamine and wood cabinets.

After removing the doors and drawer fronts, we clean all the surfaces and apply a coat of clear primer.

One and a half hours later we apply the next primer/undercoat.

We leave this to dry overnight.

The next morning we return to give the cabinets their first coat of eggshell topcoat

A final coat of top coat the next day, and we are off to our workshop for a few days to prepare and paint the doors.

This customer chose a Farrow and Ball Estate Eggshell in Skimming Stone.

The handles are sanded and given 2 coats of a clear hardwearing varnish, and then the doors are refitted in the kitchen to complete the transformation.
